Leonard Catskill 38-3 Fly Rod 7' 2/2 #3A nice HL Leonard 38 3 Catskill Special fly rod, 7', 2 piece, 2 tip, built for a #3 line. Serial #8451. Medium fast action with fine delicate tips (this feels like a great trico rod). Lightly used with some discoloration of the grip and edgewear to the cap and ring seat hardware. The serial number denotes a 1984 manufacture date, the Larry foster period, near the end of the company. The rod is flame treated like the Hunt. 3 up node pattern
Oxodized ferrules and hardware with that great pewter color

The rod is in pristine condition with the original bag and tube
